 Absolute Poker Sucks

There is something suspicious about a poker site that offers bonuses incessantly.  It almost feels like Absolute Poker is collecting deposits until they reach a certain level and then they plan to make off with the loot.  The truth is more about attracting and retaining players, but they seem to be spewing cash to their players.  The good news for them is that their bonuses take forever to earn, so they don't have to pay it all out.

If Absolute Poker is interested in retaining players, they could at least start with their shitty software.  It really is some of the worst in the business.  Hard to read and busy is only the beginning.  They also seem to have a memory leak that slowly crashes your computer if you play more than one table.  Lockups and crashes are common, but the crashes are not limited to their server, Absolute Poker can also crash your computer!

Their game selection sucks, but they have a very easy 50/100 game if you can avoid the suckouts.  It is rarely running, so jump in when you can, bankroll permitting.  The rest of their limits have some games going but you are stuck with whatever is running, you can't cherry pick the good tables.

As far as their management goes, they are the ultimate pretenders.  They try real hard to be one of the heavy hitters in the industry but they will always be a second class site with that software.  One amusing thing they did was give away a Hummer H2 at the WSOP if you wore their gear and got a lot of TV time.  Apparently their own players are either not plentiful enough to send people to the WSOP or they just suck too much.  When Absolute Poker has to look outside their own players for TV product placement, it is just pathetic.  That sucks.

Bottom line is that this site sucks.  Sure there is a perpetual bonus if you have unlimited funds to keep depositing, but the software is so bad it makes earning the slow bonus seem even slower.
